Scopus is an abstract and citation database for scholarly literature across a wide variety of disciplines. It contains research, reliable data, metrics, and analytical tools that can show journal, article, and author influence.

On Mon. Oct. 16th at 9:30am, a representative from Scopus (new DiMenna-Nyselius Library database subscription) will lead a webinar for Fairfield University faculty to provide an overview and cover the fundamentals of:

  • Author identity - How to interpret and work with author profiles
  • Search Strategies - execute searches using full range of topical search functionality offered in Scopus.
  • Conduct comparative analytics and develop visualizations

There will be time for questions and a Librarian moderated discussion around how faculty currently use, or plan to use, Scopus for their research and teaching.

Registration required. Can't make it to the webinar and would like to learn more about Scopus? Contact your department's Librarian Partner
