A representative from Scopus (DiMenna-Nyselius Library database subscription) will lead a webinar for Fairfield University faculty to provide an overview and cover the fundamentals of:

  • Author identity - How to interpret and work with author profiles
  • Search Strategies - execute searches using full range of topical search functionality offered in Scopus.
  • Conduct comparative analytics and develop visualizations

There will be time for questions and a Librarian moderated discussion around how faculty currently use, or plan to use, Scopus for their research and teaching. Scopus is an abstract and citation database for scholarly literature across a wide variety of disciplines. It contains research, reliable data, metrics, and analytical tools that can show journal, article, and author influence.
