Join us for a “A Tribute to the Black Student Union,” a panel discussion featuring current and past members of Fairfield University’s Black Student Union.

Panelists will speak on their experiences at Fairfield, the beginnings of the BSU, and the importance of the organization on campus and beyond. This panel is presented by the Black Student Union, the DiMenna-Nyselius Library, and the Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs Office.

In conjunction with this event, the Library is hosting Mosaic of Empowerment: A Tribute to Fairfield University’s Black Student Union, an exhibit curated by Blessed Stephen ’25, President of the BSU. This exhibit features photographs, objects, and commentary on the history and impact of Fairfield University’s Black Student Union. It is on view on the Library’s lower level until February 21, 2025.
