Join us off-campus at the Pequot Library for a chat with the authors of Success on the Sound: A History of Fairfield University. University Archivist and Special Collections Librarian Elise Bochinski, along with Professor Emeritus Paul Lakeland, and Professor Emeritus Kurt Schlichting will host a conversation on what makes the Jesuit Catholic university special and different. The book documents key decisions and initiatives that propelled the university toward further professionalization and increased academic status, while placing it within the context of the development of Catholic higher education in the United States.
