Authentically Human: Who Are We in the Digital Age?:  A Conversation about the Fall 2025 Common Reads & Artificial Intelligence

This summer, Provost Siegel asked incoming students engage in a shared reading experience to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of how we can thrive—ethically, emotionally, intellectually, and professionally—in our rapidly changing world. We welcome parents, families, and alumni, to join faculty and librarians at the DiMenna-Nyselius Library for a discussion of this important topic in relation to the three Common Read titles, Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro, Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, or I, Human by Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic. Vice Provost for Pedagogical Innovation & Effectiveness, Jay Rozgonyi, will also discuss how AI is being integrated into teaching and learning at Fairfield.

All are welcome to attend regardless of having read any of the Common Read books.
