AI Salon: Will AI Replace Human Connection? In-Person

Julia Smith from Counseling & Psychological Service will facilitate a conversation about the shift from the 'attention economy' to the emerging ‘intimacy economy.’ Register on this page. Lunch will be provided.

A “salon” is a regularly occurring social and intellectual gathering of people, named after the room they used to be held in. The AI Salon facilitates thoughtful conversations and provides a platform to bring together our Fairfield University community to discuss ideas, expand our creative thinking, and for philosophical exchange. This is not a workshop, just a space to gather, share, respond, and discuss the implications of AI on our research, teaching, learning, as well as our personal lives.
