AI Salon (for students): How Are You Using AI Now, or Expect to Use It Post-Fairfield? In-Person

All students are invited for a casual chat with the head of the University’s AI Taskforce, Rob Schnieders, VP of Strategic Initiatives. AI is already part of how many students study, create, and get things done, but what does that mean for you as you think about life after college? Join other students for an open conversation about how you’re using AI right now, what’s helpful (and what’s not), and what you think expectations will be as you move towards an AI-shaped workplace. No expertise required, just your perspective. Coffee and bagels included.

A “salon” is a regularly occurring social and intellectual gathering of people, named after the room they used to be held in. The AI Salon facilitates thoughtful conversations and provides a platform to bring together our Fairfield University community to discuss ideas, expand our creative thinking, and for philosophical exchange. This is not a workshop, just a space to gather, share, respond, and discuss the implications of AI on our research, teaching, learning, as well as our personal lives.
