Thomas Fitzpatrick, S.J. came to Fairfield University 9 years ago, after living and working for 20 years in the Middle East. Since then, he’s become well-known on campus for his transformative work in leading people through the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. His personal writing looking back on a lifetime of lived spirituality on five continents across the world is equally transformative. All are invited to hear a special reading of poetry and personal writings by Father Tom. Opening remarks given by the Dean of the Library & University Librarian, Christina McGowan, and Father Tom’s writing advisor, Professor Karen Osborn. Q&A moderated by Professor Carol Ann Davis and Professor Elizabeth Petrino.

A wine and cheese reception will follow.
