SUMMARY:AI Salon: Will AI Replace Human Connection?
DESCRIPTION:Julia Smith from Counseling & Psychological Service will
facilitate a conversation about the shift from the 'attention economy' to
the emerging ‘intimacy economy.’ Register on this page. Lunch will be
provided.\n\nA “salon” is a regularly occurring social and intellectual
gathering of people\, named after the room they used to be held in. The AI
Salon facilitates thoughtful conversations and provides a platform to bring
together our Fairfield University community to discuss ideas\, expand our
creative thinking\, and for philosophical exchange. This is not a
 workshop\, just a space to gather\, share\, respond\, and discuss the
implications of AI on our research\, teaching\, learning\, as well as our
 personal lives.
